Tips For An Amazing Ceremony!

The engagement has happened and now you find yourself staring at that date on your calendar! The one where you will say your ‘I dos” and finally be married! Right now though, its time to prep!

Often people overlook the importance of a wedding ceremony. Yes, it’s necessary but often people don’t see it as an entertaining or the “highlight” of their wedding which I think is so weird! Without it you’re not married!

We’ve come a long way from many tradition or what I would even call “boring” trends which used to accompany ceremonies, and just because it’s a legal part of your day doesn’t mean it needs to be associated with boring! (I don’t do boring ceremonies!) so here’s a couple of ways to keep your ceremony fresh, keep your guests entertained and make it unforgettable for the rest of your life.

Write your own Vows

Grab some tissues! Having something written from the heart adds another dimension to your ceremony. Consider who you are as a couple, add some honest feelings, some laughing moments, what you love about your partner and maybe a promise or two. You have an opportunity here to make something memorable and awesome!

Press Record

Setting up a video camera to the side of your ceremony will help you capture those unplanned moments which unfold unexpectedly. Honestly, a wedding day goes so fast its easy to remember the smaller details of why you may of laughed or cried at a certain point. It doesn’t matter if its long or short its in the moment and its nice to reflect on these memories. You can also choose a professional videographer as well to help you out if you wish.

The Perfect Date!

You may of known for a long time that you were setting a specific date because it is you anniversary or some other reasoning. Obviously many weddings take place on a Saturday in the Central West but the rise of other days of the week is rising! Friday weddings are certainly a thing! Some vendors offer discounts also for weekday weddings if you’re trying to save some coins. Consider what may be suitable to you and possibly your guests. We are much more flexible these day than before covid with many more individuals working flexibly!

Wear What You Love!

One of my business mottos is “your wedding your way” Pick something that makes you feel fabulous and comfortable! Something that defines you! If you want to wear white do it! If you want to wear something sparkly and red please do! Make a statement of your personal style whatever that might be.

Wedding Suppliers

Those who you choose to help you plan your perfect day need to be considered carefully! Your vendors really can make or break your day! Don’t just base your choice on a cool Instagram photos. Do your homework, talk to others who have used the supplier. Ask your friend why they did or didn’t hire someone your considering. Try to pick wedding suppliers who work to the same high professional standard and try to support local as well where you can! The last thing you want on your day is the logistics to fall apart, have back up plans where necessary to ensure you can relax and enjoy your day with no dramas!
